Update Return Status
PUT/return/:returnID/status
Changes the status of a return request. Each change is recorded in the return's timeline (events).
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| new | The return was just created and hasn't been handled yet. |
| pending | The return is accepted and being processed. |
| in-transit | A shipment was created for the return. Set automatically by Create Return Shipment. |
| returned | The returned package arrived back to you. Set automatically when the return label shipment is delivered. |
| completed | The return is closed, e.g. the refund or exchange is done. |
| cancelled | The return was rejected. |
Some changes also notify the customer by email, using the email templates set up in the Kvikk app:
- cancelled: the return rejected email, including the
cancellationReasonyou send. - returned: the package received email.
Setting the status the return already has changes nothing and sends no email.

OK. The code is return_status_updated, or return_status_unchanged if the return already had this status.
